Moreover, this image, different from an ordinary seated pensive pose (hankashiyui), has its right hand facing front instead of on its cheek, which corresponds to the iconography of the principal image of Kuze Kannon of Shitennoji Temple described in Besson Zakki.   \nThe entire image, including the pedestal, is created all in one cast and hollowed out up to the head. A big fin inside the neck separates the head from the body. The thickness of the copper in the body and pedestal slightly differs from that in the head. While it is thin and even in the body and pedestal, it is not even in the head. It is thin from the forehead to the eyes and thick from the mouth to the jaw. It seems that this unevenness was caused by a process where melted copper entered into the head from a crack in the inner clay mold in the neck, separating the inner clay mold into the head and body at the neck and causing the head to move upward. There is an iron core remaining in the right-front side of the fin in the neck. In the upper part of the back of the image, a square katamochi (a metal piece inserted between the outer and inner molds) is inserted. While there are many mold cavities in the shoulders and the head, the body below the shoulders has few cavities, demonstrating a fine casting finish. Although there are no sculptural defects, many repairs have been made with inlay on the top of the head, the crown, the neck, the abdomen and the knees. Gold plating remains over almost the entire surface except the inside of the crown and the back of the head. For coloring, lapis lazuli remains on the hair, vermillion (or Bengala) remains on the crown, the shoulders, the back of the flame-shaped sacred gem and the lips and the black sumi used for the outlines of the eyebrows, the eyes, the eyeballs, the mustache and the beard can still be seen.\n","@language":"en"},{"@value":"  도리파(止利派)의 보살반가상으로, 눈을 살구씨 모양이 아닌 초승달 모양으로 약간 올라가게 표현한 것 외에도 호류지 절의 보살입상과 매우 닮은 모습을 하고 있다. 또한 본 상은 통례적인 반가사유상과는 달리 오른손을 뺨에 대지 않고 손바닥을 정면으로 향하여 세우고 있는데 이러한 형태는 『별존잡기』에서 보이는 시텐노지 절 본존구세관음상의 모습과 일치하는 것이다.\n  본체와 대좌는 한 덩어리로 주조되었으며, 머리까지 내부가 비어있다. 목 안에 커다랗게 튀어나온 부분이 있어 이것에 의해 머리와 몸의 중공부가 가로막힌다. 동의 두께는 몸과 머리가 약간 다른데, 몸은 전체적으로 얄팍하며 거의 균일하지만 머리는 균일하지 않고 전면의 이마부터 눈까지가 얇으며 입부터 턱까지는 두껍다. 이는 주조할 때 목 안쪽의 내형토에 균열이 생겨 녹은 동이 흘러 들어가, 머리와 몸의 내형토가 목 부분에서 분리되어 머리의 내형토가 위쪽으로 움직인 상태를 나타내는 것으로 추정할 수 있다. 목 안의 튀어나온 부분 오른쪽으로 철심이 남아있으며, 몸 뒷면의 중앙 위쪽에 방형의 형지(型持)가 설치되어 있다. 양 어깨부터 머리까지 기포가 집중되어 있는데 그 아래쪽은 기포도 적고 주조 상태가 양호하다. 한편 조형적으로는 실패한 부분이 발견되지 않지만, 머리 꼭대기와 보관을 비롯하여 목, 배, 무릎 등 땜질로 보정한 부분들이 눈에 띈다. 보관의 뒤쪽과 뒷머리를 제외한 거의 전면에 도금이 남아있으며, 두발에 군청색, 보관 및 양 어깨의 화염보주 뒷면과 입술에 주홍색(혹은 벵갈라)으로 채색하고 눈썹과 눈의 윤곽 및 눈동자, 콧수염, 턱수염에 먹을
