The common name of Fushishin (1257 to after 1327) was Kaizoku and his pen names included Fudojin. He was born in Yu province (Hunan). This is a draft of a postscript to a poem Fushishin wrote at the request of Kurin Seimu when he was staying at Honeiji Temple where Kurin Seimu served as the chief priest. Later, Kurin wrote the details of how he gave this to Getsurin Doko, a Japanese priest who was studying in China during the Yuan period, in the blank space of the latter half. Since Fushishin was devoted to Zen Buddhism and had a deep friendship with Cho Mofu, Choho Myohon and Kurin Seimu, his handwritings were highly valued among Zen monks. This was written by Fushisin in 1325 when he was 69 years old and Kurin Seimu's notes were added two years later when Kurin was 66 years old.
