The rim is bent inward, the shoulder is broad and round, with a mildly-curved body and a slightly-pointed bottom part. The corrosion is not as extensive as N-275 gotetsu no hachi bowl, but still, there are numerous holes: two large and small ones, on the bottom part, two small ones on the body part and many smaller ones in various places. The one on the bottom has been fixed with a round brass plate. According to the temple's records, this bowl was used by Eji Hōshi (lit. dharma master Eji).
