This image has the same style as N-159, such as a mountain motif engraved on the round pedestal. While there are patterns applied via special and nanako chisels, they are not as elaborate as those of N-159. The folds of the kun (skirt) and the mountain motif are more simplified and formalized and look like utsushi-kuzure (deformation of the original due to copying). The style of placing a lotus center between a round pedestal and turned-down lotus petals (i.e., the core is shown on the side) is the same as the style of a seated image of Bodhisattva owned by a private individual in Hyogo, but it is not what can be found in N-159.
The image, including the pedestal, is created all in one cast and hollowed out below the hips. The upper part of the body above the hips is solid. The copper thickness is not even in the hollow area. It is thin from the front to the left and thick from the right to the back. The front lower part of the pedestal, including the area below the left foot, has been tinkered with. There is an inlay treatment along the inside of the left leg next to the front hanging skirt, which partially overlaps with the aforementioned area that was tinkered with. Another inlay treatment can also be found on the surface in the middle of the left forearm. There are many mold cavities all over the image and relatively big ones spread from the head to the chest and in the pedestal. Renjumon (a motif where raised beads are consecutively placed) are engraved with a nanako chisel on the kantai (ornamental ribbons hanging from the right and left sides of a crown) and on the chest ornament, while a fukurentenmon motif (a double dotted pattern) is rendered with a special chisel on the semicircular decoration in the middle of the chest ornament and on the hems of the kun (skirt), the decorations around the hips, lotus core and down-turned lotus petals. Gold plating remains over almost the entire surface of the image except the reverse side of head ornaments and on the topknot and the hair under it. For coloring, lapis lazuli remains on the hair, vermillion (or Bengala) is found on the lips and black sumi lines the mustache.
