Part of an anthology of Chinese poems, containing 282 lines of 40 poems by Tang Dynasty poets such as Yin Yao, Gu Yanzhang, and Yang Shidao. As this is the only extant part of the volume, the editor cannot be identified or the exact quantity of the volumes known. Considering that all the poets in this anthology belonged to the Tang Dynasty, it might have been edited in those days. This copy was actually written in the early Heian Period. Kukai (774-835) is assumed to have been the copier. It is a valuable example of an anthology written in the Tang Dynasty and also as an unusual example of So'sho style calligraphy in the Heian Period. Some detached segments, called "Nan'in Gire", are also valuable works of ancient calligraphy.
