This stone stick is made of jasper and divided into five parts that are linked to each other via an iron core. The top part in a slightly warped shape is divided into right and left. The bottom end is a little bulged like a scabbard end. Gyokujo-type stone sticks are burial accessories unique to the early Tumulus period and this one seems to have been a burial accessory also created in the early Tumulus period around the 4th century. However, the details of the excavation conditions are unknown. The jasper part is well ground and this stone stick is a valuable material in that it shows a gyokujo-type stone stick in its entirety.
