Judging from the slightly vertically oriented form, this haniwa seems to have been created in the mid-Tumulus period around the 5th century. It shows a hip-and-gable roof structure, where the upper part is in gable form and the lower part is in hip form. The gable side of the upper gable roof has a large bargeboard and the batten is represented by carving. On the walls on the gable sides, there are entrance-like openings, whereas on each of the two flat sides, there are two rectangular windows. While some parts have been restored, overall it has a well-balanced shape and is in good condition.
